David Nichols has been a legal assistant with Galligan & Manning since 2003 but he’s been in the legal profession for over 30 years. David strengthens our legal team by drawing on his experience as a Court Clerk in the Probate Division of the Harris County Clerk’s office where he worked with the probate judges and their staffs.
David’s role at our firm includes interfacing with clients, witnesses, and attorneys as he gathers the information and documentation necessary to ease our clients toward a smooth fulfillment of their roles as executors or administrators. Many times this includes preparing accountings, inventories, and dealing with creditors of an estate. Working closely with our attorneys, David expertly prepares the appropriate probate filings and assists with initial drafts of estate planning documents.
David was born in Brownsville, TX but has lived in Houston since he was 6 years old. When time allows, David enjoys trips to Austin for some golf and to spend time with his twin brother and extended family members.
